It's a wonderful life

Hello,
I know I haven't written in a while but December is a crazy season after all, I've been rabidly trying to get ready for Christmas and I am still not completely done but I'm almost there. How ever I decided to take a break and went on to Etsy and wanted to share some links with you.

This person has some beautiful leather log journals and wallets. They are just perfect and actually a wonderful price.

This person's art work is just phenomenal, I hope to own one, one day

Forest Nymphs

Hey again,
So I did some more crocheting and I thought I would show you 2 of the guys I just made.

 

This guy is from a pattern I got off of Etsy and decided to try. 

Yes he is wearing a diaper. However the lighting on my small

camera sucks so he is actually a deep plum colour with

sparkles in the fabric.

 

This is the Forest Faerie I just created. She is my own design.

I am hoping to make simpler versions of her and when I get my 

own shop up and running selling her.

O the Weather Outside is Frightful....

Hello,
I was invited to a Christmas party this friday coming up and needed a dress so yesterday I went out and got one that I think will double for many occasions to come, but after buying the dress I thought to myself I need to have a mini self portrait day. Therefore I got out my lighting kit and 5 in 1 reflector that I got from my parents for my birthday and set up a little portrait studio in our freshly painted guest room.
Here are a few quick edits I did:

And this came out of when I was trying to figure out the cropped images I was 

putting all of them together so I would get all the same sized crop

and thought it looked interesting.

Recipe To Riches

Hello,
President's Choice is hosting a Recipe to Riches contest and right now some of the products are in store. There is actually a gluten free cookie in the running it is called the Gluten free "Smart Cookie" and I have to say it is completely and utterly delicious and according to my mom is only 3.99 a box rather then what we normally pay for mediocre cookies at the price of 5 dollars or more. So I recommend you go to your local grocery store that carries president's choice and pick up a box to try, they are well worth it.
