A quilting we will go

So I am in a slight made dash panic right now to get everything ready for Applefest with my wonderful mother's help. But we are in the final stages now and so here are some more images of quilts that I have done, these ones will be available at applefest for sale, they are all children's/ baby sized quilts and have flannel on the back:

'Nother Photoshoot

So this is the post for the photoshoot I told you about but couldn't post just yet, well I just got confirmation that I could post it, and I literally mean like minutes ago. I warn you this post will be photo heavy again.
A little about this shoot.... let me see well it was my first engagement shoot ever and I totally loved every second of it, it was for one of my best friends in the whole world which made it more awesome and I had done a shoot for them just the day before their engagement... if you haven't figured it out yet, here are the images:

My favourite ring shot

We had so much fun because we had serious shots, we had fun shots, we had tradition shots, and un traditional shots. And as you can see they had no problem with getting wet.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did when taking them.

Va Va Voom

I did a boudoir shoot recently for  a close friend of my and she has allowed me to share with you all 4 of the images from the shoot. I hope you enjoy.

These are just 2 of the outfits we had, I think they turned out well and look forward to more shoots I haven't had much experience in, like new borns, engagements, large families or groups etc. Maybe one with an animal. I like to explore the fields of photography so these past few weeks have been a real treat.
As for the other shoot I did this week you will have to wait and see it after I have permission to post.
Till then

Photography Overload

So I recently did 2 shoots and I have been hired for another one later this week. I realized just how much I had missed doing shoot so often and having the work there to keep me busy. Owning my own business and trying to get it known and out there is proving to be slow and difficult but I will persist because this is what I love to do, however  it has given me tons of time on my hand that I don't know what to do with. I do like to lazy around I am naturally a slow time type of person but like I said having these 2 shoots and having to edit them and get them to the clients has been an utter joy. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they will continue to come in from here on out.
Anyway the first shoot I am not posting any images of yet only because I would like to get the permission of the client before I show the world any of them, I like them to have final say on what they would like to keep private and what they are willing to go on the internet, so hopefully I will have a post for you of that in a few days. On the other hand though I do have images from the latest shoot, got the approval just a few hours ago so here they are:
*for warned this post is picture HEAVY*
This is the cool trees we found on our walk and I just had to take a picture of them

Testing out my lighting ended up being a really nice shot too

Many of the walking ones were cute but my favourite ones were them walking
away onto their own path type style

These railings worked for many of the shots, and the background just worked beautifully

This was an idea the client had and I think it is gorgeous

It reminds me of "Romeo and Juliet"'s Balcony seen
After this he jumped up and kissed her, very cute

The railings again, it just made for nice dynamics

We started so late that we were able to catch the sun set which was
very lucky, a little difficult to light once it started to go past the horizon but
well worth it

One of just the sunset trying to get the right settings

He's a fireman and the fireman lift was a very adorable idea they had

He was pretending to drop her in the water, but it ended up looking like dancing it is
by far one of my favourite shots I took all nite

And this is my favourite

And at the end of the night we were able to grab one last shot on the
last night of the blue moon.

I hope you enjoy because I really enjoyed taking and editing these images. I hope to have many more clients like them.
