Cell Phones and cozies

Hello all,
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while but we had a loss in the family and I haven't felt like posting anything much of lately.
However I finally got enough energy up and put this post together.
I did go out after the first snow fall and took pictures down in our provincial park but I haven't had the time or the energy to work on them so hopefully in the next couple days I can get around to that.
I have been able to work on some of my Etsy stuff.
So One blood blister and 2 sore fingers later this is what I have to show:

These images were taken in my small makeshift home studio.
If you would like to see more of the items please go check them out at my Etsy shop Photo Alley's creative Haven

There are about 6 small cases perfect for smaller phones and especially for I phones and 2 larger cases perfect for a phone like the Samsung Galaxy or any phone similar to this size.

I hope you enjoy.

Photoshoot of Sale Items

Hello again,
So after I finished up on Etsy and the last blog post, I went and did the photoshoot of the items I am putting in my shop when I get it up and running.
Here are a few of the images I liked best:

If you have bought or buy one of these guys, his tongue can turn
into his nose and you can position his eyelids

Awhile back I made a coupe lip balm holders,
I plan to make a bunch more

This was one of my first attempts at a fish

My favourite part of this guy is his heart

We hung the jelly fish to get their images

We did the same as the jelly fish with the dolls, so you
could see the full outfit

And this one was taken when I was trying
to get a lantern shot but I thought it just looked really
cool.

I hope you like the shots I took and as soon as the shop is up and running I will let you know.

Crochet Storm

Hey,
I have decided I am going to open up my own Etsy shop so recently I have been crocheting up a storm.
I realized I wanted some inventory before I actually open the store and I needed some bigger items. So For the past 3 days I have been creating away.

Here are the images:
This is the front and side view of a the Fire Faery.
I have decided I am going to keep this one.

This is the front and side of the flower faery.

This is the front and side of the Ying and Yang Faery

And this is the 4 all together, you will notice the last faery is the
forest faery from a previous post.
I would have made more of these guys except I ran out
of the proper safety eyes.

These are my frogs I have made so far, I will
be making many more.

And this is another bead guy, the first
one to be made for my shop.

Tomorrow I hope to make some more frogs and also some jelly fish or more beaded men.

I as well also have a picture of the gifts I gave my nieces for christmas. I crocheted them up some food, from the book "Yummigurumi", to go with their play kitchen. I made them each a set of fruit salad and a sandwich set.
Here are the images:

Till next time.

Chocolate Cake

Hello one and all,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year's. I sure did.
My family all came over and celebrated Christmas here at my home and what made it more special was the love and understanding they all have. My mother and I decided this year because of me and my brother we would make a gluten free meal. That way when we were serving food we could have anything and everything. We made the stuffing with "Udi's gluten free bread". We had home made mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes made with "Vegan Becel margarine" and Goat's milk. Then our appetizers were home made white bean dip and veggies, some cheese and crackers and all the crackers were gluten free. In which case we tried a new cracker by "Glutino called Bagel Chips", these were by far my favourite of the night, they remind me of crostinis really. And they went so well with out cranberry and cinnamon soft goat's cheese. If you can find these ones in a store near you I highly recommend them. Now we had the whole dinner made but nothing for desert so we asked our relative's to bring something and we figured if there wasn't anything for me and my brother we would find something around the house we could eat for it. However my Aunt was wonderful, she made a gluten free flourless chocolate cake. I have to tell you this was the best chocolate cake I have ever had. It was moist, it was chocolatey. It was perfection. I would have a picture but unfortunately we ate it all before I thought about that. It didn't even make the night we finished every last crumb. If I can wrangle the recipe from her I am almost positive I will make it every day just for the deliciously goodness of it. Like I said it was nice and moist unlike most gluten free cakes that tend to dry out, it was actually better then I remember regular chocolate cake tasting.
So this cake was the proverbial icing on the cake for my Christmas.
If I find any more recipes for you all to try I will let you know about them.
Till another time,
